Short-term care is for temporary medical care following surgery, injury, illness, or other medical conditions. Long-term care is for seniors or others with chronic or progressive medical conditions.
Health care services that help an individual keep, get back, or improve skills and function for daily living that have been lost or impaired due to sickness, hurt, or being disabled. These services may include physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and psychiatric rehabilitation services in a variety of inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Below are the Services and Therapies currently offered at our Facility:
Physical Therapy aims to relieve pain and help individuals move better and/or strengthen weakened muscles.
Occupational Therapy assists to promote health and wellness in individuals who have had trouble in everyday activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, using their hands and other daily tasks.
Speech Therapy treats individuals and provides retraining to individuals with speech, swallowing, cognitive-linquistic and confusion and memory disorders.
During Respiratory Therapy, trained Respiratory Therapists help improve the outcomes of those with asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, lung trauma, and other diagnoses. Therapists assess breathing, recommend exercises, and monitor progress of the patient.
Physiatry Therapy is non-surgical and holistic in nature. Physiatrists treat medical conditions that can cause pain or limit function. From diagnosis to treatment to rehabilitation, the goal is to help the patient’s health and quality of life be restored back to the maximum level. Physiatrists have experience in working with a wide range of problem areas, from sore shoulders to major physical conditions.
Outpatient Therapy is any service or treatment that doesn't require hospitalization.
Skilled Nursing Care consists of licensed nurses offering care or treatment for patients in need. Types of Skilled Nursing Staff include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, speech and language pathologists, licensed vocational nurses, audiologists, and medical directors.
Wound Care pertains to doctors and nurses treating wounds that do not heal.
A basic single occupancy room, with an adjoining private bath or shower room.
The Salon offers standard hair-care services including shampoo and style, cuts, and color, plus beard trimming and shaving for men. Permanent waves, hair straightening, braids, and deep conditioning may be on the menu, too, and some salons also offer manicures, pedicures, and foot massages.
